Firstly, many women say that being bare down there improves sexual sensation. Clearly it is also arousing to the partner to see the Brazilian Bikini (or we probably wouldn’t be discussing this to begin with on this very public website).
While on that subject, apparently it lowers the spread of sexually transmitted diseases simply because sexual partners can see the warts or herpes better and in the case of pubic lice, there is less territory for them to settle-down on. Again, shaving can cause bumps that make people extra nervous, so laser hair removal is a great choice.
Of course hair is a wonderful place for bacteria to thrive, and create odors (think hairy armpits here too!).
